From 6th December 2018, our regulator, the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), requires all firms to publish transparent pricing in certain areas of law in which we deliver legal services.

Our prices and fees are listed below; if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact HSH Solicitors today!

Residential Conveyancing Pricing

The prices referred to below are estimates of our fees for a standard, straightforward purchase or sale and assumes your property is already registered with the Land Registry. Our fees cover all of the work required to complete the sale or purchase of your new home, including dealing with registration at the Land Registry and dealing with the payment of Stamp Duty Land Tax (Stamp Duty) if the property is in England or Land Transaction Tax (Land Tax) if the property you wish to buy is in Wales.

If unforeseen matters are arising additional fees may be incurred, including for example (but not limited to):

a) a defect in title which requires remedying before completion of the preparation of additional documents ancillary to the main transaction;

b) This is the assignment of an existing lease and is not the grant of a new lease

c) The transaction is concluded promptly and no unforeseen complication arises

d) All parties to the transaction are cooperative and there is no unreasonable delay from third parties providing documentation

e) No indemnity policies are required. Additional disbursements may apply if indemnity policies are required

Purchase Prices  Fees Range

£0- £250,000£850.00 and these fees attract VAT at a rate of 20% (£170.00 VAT)
£250,001 – £500,000£1,015.00 and these fees attract VAT at a rate of 20% (£203.00 VAT)
£500,001 – £750,000£1,250.00 and these fees attract VAT at a rate of 20% (£250.00 VAT)
£750,001 – £1 million£1,500.00 and these fees attract VAT at a rate of 20% (£300.00 VAT)
£1 million +1% of the sale price and these fees attract VAT at a rate of 20%

£750,001 – £1,000,000£1,500.00 and these fees attract VAT at a rate of 20% (£300.00 VAT)
£1 million +1% of the sale price and these fees attract VAT at a rate of 20%

Remortgage Prices Range

£500 – £850 and these fees attract VAT at a rate of 20% (£100.00 – £170.00 VAT)
